Registration form

In order to attend LCC12, whether remotely or live, please fill out the form below or follow this link.

Click submit at the end! You will see a confirmation page saying “Thanks for your registration!” — if you don’t, we didn’t get anything.

If you’re an LCS member (and register with your LCS email address), or if you list your Discord username, then one of our team will manually add you to the Discord/Zulip “LCC12 attendee” role; that is 100% confirmation that we got the registration, but may take a couple days for us to get to.

(Note: Ordinarily you should get a confirmation email directly from Google immediately after the form is submitted, but that seems to be broken at the moment.)

Payment

In-person registration covers lunch on all three days (Friday–Sunday the 10th–12th) as well as snacks that will be served throughout the duration conference. For live attendees who have registered as attending the conference dinner on Friday, please see the prices that include “dinner”.

Note to student volunteers: You are not expected to pay registration fees. However, if you would like to attend the conference dinner, you will still have to pay for that. In that case you must select the payment option “Dinner only, for LCC volunteers”.

We recognize that many members of our community have tight finances. If you can’t afford the asked-for registration fee, you can choose to pay what you want on the basis of self-declared financial need, down to and including $0 — with no questions asked and no less access than anyone else. Just mark yourself as reducing for financial need in the registration form, and use the custom registration button below (if non zero).

Donations

The LCS is a non-profit. Our YouTube live streams and recorded videos will be free, as always. However, running the LCC is not actually free for us, and we ask that you please contribute to support and expand it.

Donations of $200 or more, both personal and institutional, receive (at the donor’s option) the donor’s choice of logo, name, & URL/link in the LCC12 main page, all pamphlet-style materials, and the organizers’ opening & closing remarks slides.

LCS membership

You can sign up at the door for LCS membership, and LCS new member lapel pins will be available for pickup in person and for at-door registrants. LCS members get a discount on all LCCs, including LCC12. If you sign up (or renew) as a member now, you get the discounted registration price.
