That said, only a handful of select, carefully vetted users authorized by the LCS Board of Directors have access to and collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We do not share any of your personal information with any other organization, with some exceptions:

• We will share your information if it is necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to process a donation to the LCS via PayPal or Amazon Pay.
• If you are involved in an activity on behalf of the LCS, such as a local volunteer for the biannual Language Creation Conference, or if the LCS is working on your behalf, such as brokering a conlanging job, then we may need to share your contact information with others. We will ask for your permission beforehand.
• When you join the LCS, your name and email address are automatically added to our members email list and to our Slack team. Other members can view this information (but not the public). You may opt out of either or both of these groups by sending a request to memberships@nullconlang.org.
• We may share your information on a need-to-know basis with website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting the nonprofit, or providing LCS membership benefits or LCS conference information to you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
• We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.
• Unless you ask us not to, we may also contact you via email in the future to inform you about important announcements about the LCS or regarding changes to this privacy policy.

You may opt out of any future contacts from the LCS at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

• See what data we have about you, if any.
• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

We take precautions to protect your information. However, we ask that you do not submit sensitive information directly through this site’s contact form or any email address listed on our website. Sensitive information includes data such as your bank or credit card information; your date of birth; your social security number; etc. We cannot be held liable for the security of any sensitive data you send to us through the contact form or to any email address listed on our website.
